1939 St. Louis Cardinals zipper down wool road jersey game worn by relief specialist Clyde Shoun. Shoun went 3-1 with a 3.76 ERA and 9 Saves in 53 games for the 1939 Cardinals. His 53 appearances led the National League. Iconic pair of Cardinals sitting atop a black bat with "CARDINALS" in red sewn on chest. 1939 Baseball Centennial patch sewn on left sleeve. Shoun's number "24" in red felt with dark blue trim sewn on back. Red piping on sleeves and around collar and down zippered front. Rawlings St. Louis and "42" tags sewn in back of collar. "C. Shoun" in script stitched in red thread on front tail. Jersey appears totally original and displays moderate game use.
