The 1938 New York Giants who were managed by Hall of Famer Bill Terry finished in third place in the National League with a record of 83-67. This lot features a multi-signed black-and-white 8” x 10” team photo that’s been autographed in blue ink by 19 of the squad’s players. Though there are 20 signatures in dark blue ink the Bill Terry autograph has been deemed one of the clubhouse variety. Still there are 19 legitimate player autographs reflected on this photo including that of Hall of Fame slugger extraordinaire Mel Ott.
