Yankees back-up outfielder Jake Powell surrendered one of his Hanna Batrite gamers for a greater cause during the great Lou Gehrig's final complete season passing it to the Iron Horse and eighteen other World Champion Yanks along with a black fountain pen. The signatures are mostly legible though faded to varying degrees with PSA/DNA grading the signatures at 4/10. Easily discernable are Gehrig Dickey Gomez Ruffing Gordon Chandler Selkirk Sundra and others. A lengthy handle crack ended the service of this thirty-five ounce gamer but the bat remains solid and well suited for display. Pre-war team signed bats are exceptionally rare with this one representing an important season for the most storied team of the era. Includes LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (bat grade GU 7.5) and PSA/DNA (auto. grades: 4).
