Offered here is a remarkable scorecard from a 1936 New York Yankees matchup against the Boston Red Sox. The scorecard is practically unused, aside from what appears to be markings of back-to-back home runs for Lou Gehrig and Bill Dickey. The game was stacked with Hall of Famers. Heinie Manush, Jimmie Foxx, and Rick Ferrell were in the lineup for Boston; while Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, Bill Dickey, and Lefty Gomez suited up for the Yankees. The scorecard overall is in excellent condition with very little wear. The only markings on the interior pages are light pencil inscriptions on the sparsely scored card.
