In recognition of her support of the teams 1936 and 1937 NL pennant winning seasons one New York Giants player’s wife received this lovely make-up kit. The 7.5” long kit features bakelite ends and interior with a leather outer shell. A metal clasp at the top releases both sides which drop down to reveal original contents still intact. The top is engraved “NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 1936 1937.” An enameled NY Giants shield is affixed to a side as is the recipient’s name “HELEN.” Some wear is evident on the leather corners but the item remains structurally sound.
