This lot consists of two of the most iconic professional baseball players ever to wear the New York Yankees uniform. First a 1927 W560 Lou Gehrig “3 of Clubs” card graded an “84” or NM by SGC. Unlike many of its contemporaries the 1927 W560 Baseball set as designated by the American Card Catalog is not a strip card set though many exist on uncut sheets of 16 cards each.
Second is a 1935 Goudey Brandt Maranville McManus Ruth graded PSA VG-EX 4. Moderate edge and corner wear is present along with small paper loss on the front bottom right hand corner.
