This well-worn GPC was postmarked on July 19 1935 and addressed in the hand of Lou Gehrig to Ed Gomshay of the Bronx. Gehrig has inscribed a note on the back in pencil that reads “Dear Mr. Gomshay Some day when you bring your son to game bring him down to the bench. I’d be delighted to meet him. Lou Gehrig.” Although the GPC is heavily creased and worn all writing remains legible. Includes a full LOA from PSA/DNA.
