This is one of the most iconic images of the legendary Bambino, adorned in his Yankees pinstripes and exhibiting that powerful yet graceful swing that established him as the most renowned individual in the world, one who could assert he was enjoying a more successful year than the President. In this instance, the image utilized for this stunning R309-1 Goudey premium ultimately corresponds to Ruth's last season in the Bronx. This highly sought-after cardboard collectible was made available by Goudey in exchange for fifty wrappers from their 1933 series, with a stated expiration date of November 1, 1933. At a cost of one cent per pack or wrapper, the total expense of fifty cents in 1933 translates to $10.01 in 2020 currency. The example we are offering has some creasing in the top left and bottom right corners that influenced the PSA grading. Nevertheless, aside from that, there are only minor additional imperfections. It has been graded PSA PR 1.5
