This Babe Ruth "Home Run Special" baseball is mounted atop a wooden ink blotter and inscribed "Compliments of Christy Walsh" and "Parker White Wyman" who was the recipient of this significant gift from Babe Ruths business manager. The ball is lightly toned and has been signed by (7) participants and attendees of the 1933 World Series incl. Babe Ruth Mel Ott Lefty O'Doul Carl Hubbell and Bill Terry. A secretarial signature of John McGraw is also present. Signatures range from 5-7 out of 10 with Ruth having suffered some surface abrasions. Ball is also inscribed "World Series 1933 Giants vs. Washington". Fine presentation piece with significant Hall of Fame signatures from the era in VG/EX-EX condition overall. A lucite display case with a wooden base is included. Includes a full LOA from PSA/DNA.
