Eye appealing 5/8 inch gold baseball charm has the words "ALL STAR GAME CHICAGO 1933 WON BY AMERICAN LEAGUE" printed on the front in blue enamel and "J. LOUIS COMISKEY" in the same blue enamel on the back. John Louis Comiskey (August 12 1885 July 18 1939) was the owner of the Chicago White Sox of the American League from 1931 through 1939. Comiskey inherited the team from his father Charles Comiskey in 1931 and had worked for the White Sox since 1910. Outstanding and beautiful memento from baseball's first All-Star game. Awesome looking piece!
