Outstanding color and crisp picture image catch your attention on this NM-MT PSA 8 card of legendary Notre Dame coach Knute Rockne from the very high demand 1933 Goudey Sport Kings issue. This is the hobby’s signature card of the football legend who died tragically just two years before it was issued. In fact it is considered among the finest pre-war football trading cards ever issued. The offered card is extra-special by virtue of its high grade. A bright and clean image of Rockne is surrounded by crisply defined borders on the front and its reverse is neatly printed with the mildest of toning. The card exhibits well-formed corners at every aspect and it displays a commendable overall aesthetic. Extremely pleasing Near Mint to Mint condition. Only 2 other examples have been graded higher than an "8" by PSA.
