An extraordinary high-grade example of one of the 1930s most classic cards. This stunning 1933 Sport Kings Ty Cobb is extremely bright and clean both front and back with pristine corners and a perfectly registered image. The green text on the reverse is crisp bold and essentially flawless. Being the number one card in the set the Sport Kings Cobb was typically exposed at the top of the stack and therefore much more susceptible to wear than other cards. This makes finding ultra-high grade examples such as this far more difficult than most Sport Kings. An extraordinary specimen whose remarkable attributes are validated by the MINT 9 status assigned by GAI.
