1) ONL(Heydler) baseball single signed and inscribed by long time Chicago Cubs player and manager Charlie Grimm sometime in 1933. Starting at the side panel and continuing across the sweet spot is "To Uncle "Anton" 1933 Charlie Grimm". "7/10 overall vintage black ink on an evenly lightly toned baseball.
2) Interesting May 28 1936 typed signed letter from Charlie Grimm saying he was sorry his friend could not stay over for the game. Interestingly he adds "I called the chief of police and also talked to the judge of Niles and everything is all fixed up on the ticket that you got out there so there isn't any more worry for you about that". He has signed the letter "Charlie" in 8-9/10 vintage black ink. The original Chicago Cubs mailing envelope in nice shape is also included.
