This 8” by 10” photo was captured at Yankee Stadium prior to the start of the 1932 World Series between the New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs. The photo features six members of the Christy Walsh Syndicate (one of the earliest sports agencies). Signed by Hall of Famers Babe Ruth (6-7/10) and Joe McCarthy (6-7/10) as well as Nick Altrock (6/10), Charlie Grimm (4/10) and Christy Walsh himself (9/10). John J. McGraw is pictured but did not sign the photo.
An inscription at the bottom of the photo is written to a Joe Williams and dated 1932 in what appears to be the hand of Christy Walsh. The photo is mounted to a rigid cardboard backing with front appearing EX-EX/MT. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (AG01424).
