The 1932 New York Yankees possibly the best team in the history of baseball ran roughshod over the American League finishing with a an incredible 107/47 to finish 15 games ahead of Connie Mack's 3 time champs. Sporting 11 Hall of Famers Combs Dickey Gehrig Gomez Lazzeri McCarthy Pennock Ruffing Ruth Schalk and Sewell they went on to sweep the National League Champion Chicago Cubs in 4 straight outscoring the Cubs 37 to 19. What is most remembered about the Series is the tale of Babe Ruth's famous called shot home run in the 5th inning of Game 3. The following lots all pertain to that dramatic moment.

1) Ticket stubs to all 4 games of the 1932 World Series. Game 1 GAI Authentic. Rough tear OUTSIDE the perforation line. Game 2 PSA Authentic. Crease and ragged tear INSIDE the perforation line. Game 3 Ruth's Called Shot. PSA Authentic Multiple creases in about fair shape. Game 4 GAI VG+ 3.5. Displays well with 2 creases that do not disturb the front paper.

2) Woody English single signed baseball with the following inscription: #I was there. Babe Ruth did not call his H. R. in '32 W. Series". Snow white ONL(Coleman baseball with very strong 9.5/10 signature and inscription. LOA from JSA and pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

3) 3 responses to 1994 letters asking players who were there if they though Ruth called his shot. Frank Crosetti - no Woody English - no Charlie Devens - yes.

4) 1965 General Electric picturesound program - "Calling The Shot/Babe Ruth. Original and unopened.

5) Vintage 11 1/4" by 14 1/2" Junction Printing Co. advertisement for their services featuring a complete box score foe Game 1.

6) Babe Ruth 25th Anniversary Hartland Statue. NM-MT/MT condition with bat. Ruth is portrayed in the famous pose pointing to center field.

7) Oct. 2 1997 FDC honoring the 65th Anniversary of the 1932 World Series.

8) Modern photocopy of signed picture of Ruth from the 1932 World Series.
