This powerful close-up of Gandhi was taken in 1932 by a photographer from the Associated Press. The original photo has been deemed Type I Authentic by PSA/DNA and encapsulated in a jumbo holder. Photo measures approximately 8" by 5 1/2" and portrays the political and spiritual leader with eyes closed in a contemplative (probably meditative) state. A white residue (likely glue or something similar to white out) is applied in the bottom left corner. There is a small crease in the upper right corner and typical edge wear is apparent but does not take away from the otherwise sharp black and white image of Gandhi. PSA/DNA TYPE I
