Amazing photograph of two of the most dangerous bats in the Bronx Bomber lineup chomping at the bit to take their turn at the plate against the Chicago White Sox. The photo originates from the Chicago Tribune and includes the photographers (Wilkins) credits and notes on the reverse. Wilkins' notes read, "Lou Gehrig Yankee 1st baseman and Babe Ruth wait their turn at bat in 1st inning of White Sox Yankee game." The photograph has a super clean front image and the only issue is a chip in the upper left corner. One of the best photos of the famous duo we've ever handled. The 7x9.25" photo is encapsulated by PSA/DNA TYPE I (84248972).
