This H&B signature Model 125 bat of Lewis "Hack" Wilson dates to the 1932-33 period just after Wilson had established the record for RBI in a single season of 190 a record which still exists today. Wilson used this fabulous bat and it still retains the scars resulting from his powerful swing. The highest grade/top quality white ash bat displays perfect heavy game use. The rare 35-1/2" 34 ounce bat is uncracked (unusual in itself as almost all known examples are cracked a result of an extremely thin handle and a huge barrel). The bat comes from Hack's roommate Joe Kelly. Hack and Joe were best friends and Joe treasured this memento according to accompanying documentation from Joe Kelly's son. This is an incredible Hack Wilson artifact with ideal articles of provenance. Comes with two-page letter from Joe Kelly's son newspaper articles describing bat etc. As far as we know this is the only known Wilson gamer traceable directly back to his hands! This bat was sold at auction previously in 2002 for $21300.
