Scarce capture of the 1931 United States baseball Tour of Japan team arriving in Honolulu, Hawaii en route to Japan. The image shows the group arriving, donning the Hawaiian staple leis around their necks. Included in the group is Hall of Famer New York Yankee Lou Gehrig. The 6"x4" snapshot has been deemed Type I by PSA/DNA and resides in an oversized encapsulation. The rear has been noted with "United States all stars landing in Honolulu on way to Japan to teach them baseball".
