Ripper Collins 1930's "Mud Cat Band" uniform. Pepper martin's Musical Mud Cat Band was comprised of a group of St. Louis Cardinal players during the 1930's most of whom played home made instruments who got together and played during the long road trips. Collins was the regular first baseman for the Cardinals from 1931 through 1936.
1) Zipper down long sleeve white jersey with red collar and cuffs. Pair of Cardinals atop bat with "MUD Cats" across chest. Jersey has moderate wear with small hole on back and some light staining on right arm.
2) White pants with red belt loops and front and back pocket covers. Pants have moderate use with some light staining.
Interesting piece of Depression era baseball memorabilia.
