Nice looking ticket stub to Game 5 of the 1930 World Series between the Philadelphia Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals played at Sportsman's Park in St. Louis. Jimmie Foxx's 2 run homer in the 9th propelled the Athletics's to a 2-0 win giving Lefty Grove the win over Hall of Fame counterpart Burleigh Grimes. The Athletics would close out the Series with a 7-1 victory in Game 6 to take the World Championship. Very clean ticket overall. At first glace stub presents EX but there is a slight back wrinkle at left side and some small paper loss where ticket was separated.
