ADDENDUM: CONSIGNOR SENT IN AN ADDITIONAL 2 CARDS WHICH WE HAVE ADDED TO THIS LOT - HERB PENNOCK VG WITH WATER STAIN DOWN 1/2" OF RIGHT EDGE AND DOUGLAS MCWEENY POOR W/TEAR IN RIGHT EDGE.
Not sure if these are W554 or something more modern. They were included with the large 1930's collection (1933-1938 Goudey Batter-ups massive lot of 1930's George Burke postcards US Caramel 1934-36 Diamond Stars R313 R316 etc) consigned to us that is being sold in this auction and the upcoming April sale. These cards are sepia tone. Paper is card stock in thickness. Backs are blank. Hall of Fame players are: Lou Gehrig VG-EX Burleigh Grimes VG-EX w/ a 2" by 1/2" stain at bottom back edge that can also be seen from front Lefty Grove VG w/ small nick out of top edge Chuck Klein VG w/small pair of water stains at back bottom Lloyd Waner VG-EX Hack Wilson VG-EX. As we are not sure if they are a reproduction the lot will start at $15.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
