The 1929 R316 series issued by Kashin publications, is very popular with collectors due to its oversized format (3.5 x 4.5 inches) and the Charles Conlan images used throughout. Babe Ruth, of course, is the key card to the series, followed by Lou Gehrig. Both subjects are included here along with 5 additional Kashin cards featuring their Yankees teammates. The Ruth example graded PSA VG-EX 4 presents nicely with flawless picture quality, and medium even corner wear. The Gehrig example has strong eye appeal in spite of a couple of creases warranting a PSA GOOD 2 grade. Additional cards of Combs, Zachary, Pennock, Hoyt, and Koenig are in the EX range.
