Beautiful crystal clear 11" by 14" George Pietzcker original photo of professional golfer Tom Armour winner of the 1927 U.S. Open 1930 PGA Championship and the 1931 Open Championship. Photographer George Pietzcker traveled the country for almost 30 years from the early 1910's until the mid 1930's capturing the personalities places and happenings of the golf world in his beautiful photos. For almost 30 years he was a fixture at every major golf tournament played in America. Over this period it is estimated that he amassed a collection of golf photographs that by some estimates exceeded 15000 images. Original George Pietzcker photos from this time are some of the most prized by collectors of golf memorabilia.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from the Helms Athletic Foundation/LA84 Collection.
