From the historic season in which the Yankees fielded one of the most powerful lineups in baseball history comes this awesome ONL (Heydler) baseball . Autographed during the magical World Championship season of 1927 it features bold and flawlessly rendered signatures of Yankee Hall of Fame legends Babe Ruth (sweet spot) and Lou Gehrig (side panel to the left) plus 3 others. Appearing together on the panel above Ruth the combination of Bob Shawkey John Grabowski and Pat Collins positively date the ball to 1927 as that was the only year all 3 were together on the Yankees. With perfect looking (9-10/10) dark green ink autographs on an evenly toned baseball one would be hard pressed to find a more impressive pair of 1927 Ruth and Gehrig signatures together on a baseball.
