Unique and scarce Babe Ruth and Jack Dempsey original photo from 1923. The photo features Dempsey and Ruth relaxing on a sofa while Dempsey autographs a baseball and Ruth smokes a cigar. The PSA Type I photo in encapsulated in a jumbo holder providing for an excellent display.
The rear of the image is marked “Copyright 1923 by The Christy Walsh Syndicate” denoting its origin. Dempsey and Ruth were famously friends while living at Manhattan’s Ansonia Hotel during their careers in New York.
Overall, a quite impressive photo featuring two legends from their respective sports in the 1920s. Photo measures 5”x7.25” in a 13.25”X10" PSA jumbo holder.
