Great pair of items relating to the 1922 World Series between the New York Yankees and New York Giants.
1) Very nice condition rare 1922 World Series program for the last World Series contested entirely at the Polo Grounds between the two teams who called it home. Program loaded with player photos a few articles and loads of period ads. It has not been scored. Program has many creases and a couple of small tears at cover edges but the spine remains sound and the inside pages are clean. The Giants swept the Series 4 games to none(Game 2 ended in a tie) as Babe Ruth had the worst post season of his career going just 2 for 17 with 1 RBI.
2) Ticket stub to Game 4 of the 1922 World Series. Stub includes rain check. Just a few lighter creases. Clear tape runs across the top. Area of paper loss on the back from when ticket was torn upon admission.
