Nice looking card of New York Yankee Hall of Fame legend Babe Ruth from the 1922 W573 Hand Cut strip card issue. The W573's are basically blank backed black & white strip card versions of the popular 1922 E120 American Caramel issue. Like the E120 Ruth this card features a very nice early black & white photo image of Ruth on the Yankees showing him holding a baseball and wearing a vintage Yankee white hat. VG-EX or a little better looking corners. Some light toning/staining on the front with some light wear to the back. Close to 50/50 top to bottom and about 55/45 or so side to side. Very nice affordable Babe Ruth card from early on in his career.
