An extremely scarce 1922 Babe Ruth First generation original small format black and white photograph with his daughter Dorothy. On front the Babe is holding his little girl as he looks proudly at her. On reverse in vintage pencil cursive (Unidentifiable writer) is “Babe Ruth and his daughter Dorothy Ruth taken at Yankee Stadium September 9 1922.” The writer was incorrect as the game was played at the Polo Grounds that day against the Washington Senators. You can see Ruth wearing his road jersey in photo. The Yankees won that day 3-2.
