Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. This is a mid-grade representation of Babe Ruth from the W551 strip-card series. Originally released in strips, these cards (like nearly all strip-cards) are frequently encountered with unevenly cut borders, as they were manually cut from the strips, as was the intention. Only those examples that are ideally cut (which are rare) receive numerical grades from PSA (and SGC). The example being offered is neatly cut, exhibiting even wear at the corners (with the left-side corners being slightly weaker), and features a sharp profile portrait of Ruth against a red background. The blank reverse side is clean. This is a highly sought-after example of one of Babe Ruth's iconic strip-cards from the 1920s.
