Stanley Coveleski was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969 after completing consecutive 20-win seasons for the Cleveland Indians from 1918-1921. The 1920 World Series champion had a career ERA of 2.89.

 

Offered is a Coveleski 1921 Exhibits example graded VG 3 (MK) by PSA. The MK qualifier appears to come from a bit of writing on the blank back of the card that does not take away from the excellent eye appeal in any way. The ace pitcher signed the center of the card in sharp black ink. PSA/DNA deemed the autograph to be an 8/10. Just one dual-graded example is graded higher in the PSA population report as of this writing.
