Collectors have always appreciated the rarity and primitive charm of this distinctive early candy issue. Oxfords appear to have been somewhat of a regional issue distributed primarily in the Pennsylvania area. Presented is an extremely attractive example of the key card form this elusive set that presents much better than its assigned grade. Ruth's image is perfectly focused and corners look about Ex. Both surfaces are quite clean, however the reverse, which contains a checklist for the set, shows very discreet fleck of surface loss possibly due to album adhesion. Outstanding early Ruth card with EX eye appeal, though technically graded PSA GOOD 2.
