Featured here is a circa 1920's Pie Traynor store model glove in its original box advertising its endorsement by one of the greatest third baseman in the pre-war era. The right-handedfielder's glove is stamped "Professional Model" in the pocket and hasTraynor's facsimile signature in silver lettering along the pinkyfinger. The accompanying box features Traynor's portrait image on thecover. The glove is unused in NM-MT condition its leather still soft and flexiblehaving been kept within the box for decades according to our consignor. The box (8.5 x 9.75 x 3 inches) comes in VG shape held together only by a clear plastic open-faced cube. Most of its corner seams have separated from age. This is a rare player-endorsed store model glove a vintage advertisement display piece from the height of Traynor's Hall of Fame career.
