Crystal clear black & white photo image of 1919 Black Sox pitcher Eddie Cicotte from the 1916 M101-4 Altoona Tribune regional newspaper issue. Cicotte is best remembered as the starting pitcher in World Series Game 1 who hit the first batter to signal the gamblers that "the fix was in". EX to EX-MT looking corners. Super clean both front and back. Centered way toward the right border. Eye appealing card of one of the central figures in the 1919 World Series scandal the rocked baseball. Card looks more to be EX(OC) than VG.
