This PM1 Ornate Frame pin is among the rarest collectibles issued during the height of Walter Johnsons fireballing dominance. The endlessly fascinating PM1 series still remains a mystery as to the means in which they were distributed but their quality and scarcity are fact. This example displays an image of Johnson with medium contrast. A few subtle surface faults are visible in the white background area. The ornate filigreed oval frame is structurally perfect though moderately tarnished to a bronzish hue. The original pinback fastener remains firmly in tact. A very presentable VG/EX-EX example of this uncommon Big Train artifact.
