Outstanding 1915 Boston Red Sox World Series Press pin to the games held at Fenway Park between the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies. After dropping the first contest 3-1 the Boston Red Sox went on the take four straight from Philadelphia all 1 run decisions to take the World Championship. Harry Hooper and Duffy Lewis drove in 8 of the 12 runs Boston scored while Rube Foster won 2 games for the victorious Red Sox. Grover Cleveland Alexander won the only game for the Phillies. The rookie Babe Ruth appeared in just one game for Boston as a pinch hitter. 1/2" by 7/8" oblong pin has "Boston Red Sox" at the top and "World Series 1915" at the bottom. Center design features a view of the Boston sky line. Pin has toned some over the years but still boasts tremendous eye appeal. The screw in clasp is missing. Outstanding piece of early Red Sox history.
