Very evenly matched near complete set of baseball player cards from the 1914 WG4 Polo Grounds Baseball Game. 50 of 52 total cards are present 26 of which are Hall of Famers. The vast majority of cards appear to be in the EX range but a few are better. We sent 2 Cobb's 2 Mathewson's and 3 Wagner's to PSA for grading. 1 Cobb and 1 Mathewson came back NM-MT PSA 8 with the other 5 coming back EX PSA 5. The original box that held the full game is also included. Box about VG with tight secure corners but lid does have some damage from over 30 pin holes. Missing only Joe Jackson and one Mathewson for completion.
SMR value for the 7 graded cards alone is $1725.
