Popular Fatima Premium 12.5-by-19 inches No. 213 New York Watches Yankees Beat Senators a handsome example of the colorful premium from Fatima Cigarettes (the smokes are in color; three action photographs from the field are in black and white. Specimen presents NM-MT upended only by the four folds that once put it in quarters along with a light moisture stain that runs along about the bottom half of the left side a couple of inches deep.
2.) This attractive 12-1/2" by 18-1/2" Fatima advertising display features a panoramic team photo and several action shots of the 1913 New York Yankees. Taken in Bermuda during spring training the photo quartet is anchored by a description that reads "FRANK CHANCE'S NEW YORK AMERICANS IN BERMUDA The Spring training for the Yankees is being watched with unusual interest because of the former Cubs' leader's connection with the club; and also because the tourist resort is an experiment as a training ground. The upper picture shows the squad lined up - beneath are three action plays taken during practice." Adjacent to the description is a slogan for the Fatima cigarette company: "When you go to the good ball game take along the good cigarette - FATIMA CIGARETTES. The Real Turkish Blend." In the 28-man team photo Yankees team members include: Ed Sweeney Roy Hartzell Roger Peckinpaugh Birdie Cree Harry Wolter Frank Chance Hal Chase Bill McKechnie Russ Ford George McConnell Ray Keating Jack Warhop and Chet Hoff. Issued by the "Pictorial News Co." of New York the large premium (No. 6) is in EX condition with a few minor tears on the borders which in no way detract from the superb images.
