An interesting and aesthetically pleasing Fatima advertising display boasting a mid-season prediction about Connie Mack's Philadelphia A's reaching the World Series on the backs of their trio of star pitchers. Poster measures 12-1/2" by 18-1/2" from a numbered series of premiums issued by the "Pictorial News Co." "ATHLETICS' STAR PITCHERS THE GIANTS WILL HAVE TO BEAT" (No. 35) shows a beautiful trio of photos (each measuring 5-1/2" by 9-1/2") showing the A's tripartite pitching force of Jack Coombs Chief Bender and Eddie Plank. There is a description below that reads "Recent announcements on good authority that Jack Coombs will be in pitching harness early in September and the fact that Plank and Bender have been doing great work this year make it appear that Mgr. Mack will depend on the same invincible trio to win the world's series that brought him victory two years ago" (Coombs had been diagnosed with an almost terminal case of typhoid fever early in the season). The premium grades VG/EX to EX with overall wear around the periphery and some chips at the left edge and upper corner.
