Smokey Joe Wood capped off an incredible 1912 regular season in which he went 34-5 with 3 victories in the World Series as the Red Sox bested the Giants 4 games to 3. Wood struck out 11 and won the opening game with a 4-3 complete game victory. Dark bold GEM MINT PSA/DNA 10 perfect black ink Joe Wood signature on the back of this Game 1 ticket stub. Wood threw a complete game 4-3 victory over the Giants in game 1 at the Polo Grounds while striking out 11. Stub overall in decent shape. Some creases that do not disturb the paper surface. Tips of the two left corners missing. "1912" written in ink at the top of the Joe Wood autograph. Slabbed a perfect GEM MINT PSA/DNA 10.
