Appealing "Close At Third" Tris Speaker/Joe Wood EX+ SGC 70 1912 Hassan Triple Folder. Speaker was one of the all-time great hall of Fame center fielders. The tough luck Joe Wood was a very hard thrower who won 23 games in 1911 and 34 in 1912 plus 3 more in that year's World Series. Outstanding color with strong picture images of Speaker and Wood. Crisp clear center panel. He broke his thumb in 1913 ans was never the same pitcher again. All corners appears NM or better. Very clean both front and back. The main reason for the EX+ grade appears to be the centering which is about 80/20 or worse both ways toward the lower left corner. Slabbed EX+ 70 by SGC.
