Very nice looking 1911 World Series (Philadelphia Athletics at New York Giants) program has an actual photo of Giants owner John T. Brush on the cover along with the newly re-built Polo Grounds. The Athletics downed the Giants 4 games to 2 behind the superb pitching of Chief Bender Eddie Plank and Jack Coombs. In 1911 New York Giants owner John T. Brush rebuilt the Polo Grounds with concrete and steel after a fire decimated much of the old structure leading to the name Brush Stadium on the cover. After Brush's death the stadium reverted back to the original name. Inside pages of the unscored program are for the most part clean and in nice condition. Filled with photos of the 2 teams owners and executives vintage period ads as well as a full page ad for A. G. Spalding's book America's National Game. Front cover relatively clean with small piece missing at upper right side. Back cover also fairly clean with a few creases. Covers about 40% attached at spine.
