With a career WHIP of 0.908, Addie Joss still remains at the top of the MLB record book. The right-hander would turn his back to the batter to begin his windup motion, hiding the ball before whipping back around to fire it across the plate. Joss still holds the second-best career ERA record at 1.89 set while throwing for the Cleveland franchise.
