1896 Baltimore Orioles World Champion celluloid team photo pin features a sharp clear focus sepia tone team posed picture. Top of pin reads "OUR OLD CHAMPIONS" with "CHAMPIONS OF 1896 BALTIMORE BASEBALL CLUB". Original ribbon hanger still present with what looks to be the National League logo. A smaller crest pin is attached to this. The Orioles dominated the 12 tean National League around this time finishing 1st in 1894 1895 1896 and 2nd in 1897. After losing the first two Temple Cups in 1894 & 1895 they won the final two in 1896 & 1897. Original Paper insert on back reads "MADE BY HYATT M'F'G' CO. BALTO. MD. BADGES & BUTTONS OF ALL KINDS". Pin measures 1 3/4" in diameter. Great condition vintage photo pin!
