Awesome Sporting Times Cigar Trade card featuring a lithographed image taken from a Joseph Hall photo of the 1888 World Champion New York Giants who after finishing first in the National League went on to defeat the American Association Champion St. Louis Browns 6 games to 4 in a 10 game play off. All of the players are identified at the bottom including the Giants 6 future Hall of Famers - Tim Keefe John Ward Mickey Welch Buck Ewing Roger Connor and Jim O'Rourke. Card presents beautifully from the front. Blank back has a neatly written balance sheet as well as paper loss at upper right and lower left. Card measures 4 1/2" by 7 1/2".
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received.
