The eye popping 1887 N172 Old Judge card of Detroit Wolverine Hall of Fame outfielder Sam Thompson (Bat at 45 degree angle Detroits) features a crystal clear picture image with outstanding detail. Corners and edges are unusually strong for this 130 year old relic. PSA’s NM 7 assessment of the card’s condition places it in the elite position of single finest example ever graded by PSA. Furthermore this 1/1 condition rarity is one of only 180 N172 Old Judge cards graded NM 7 by PSA from over 4000 examples graded by that firm to date.
