Outstanding 1880's cabinet photograph captures a youth baseball team posing amidst an impressive array of period baseball equipment. The team features the letter "H" on their shirts with one player having additional lettering that reads "Hastings." The remarkable clarity of the photo provides a perfect study of baseball equipment of the period including their striped pillbox caps fingerless gloves spider cage catcher's mask ring bats balls etc. Photo itself measures 13" by 10" on a mount of unknown dimensions. Presented in a vintage frame with matting. Apparent EX+ condition.
