Beautiful February 26 1964 President Abraham Lincoln signed military commission ((additional paymaster). Both Lincoln (8-9/10) and Secretary of War Edwin Stanton (9/10) have signed in very strong vintage black ink. Detailed military design at the bottom features cannon flags rifles swords and other war paraphernalia. Document in very nice clean condition with the usual folds. 13 1/2" by 17 1/2" document has a 1 1/4" by 11" piece of cut off from the top. A truly outstanding example of President Abraham Lincoln's signature on a Civil War military document.
