Former Arkansas Razorbacks star running back Darren McFadden was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft scooped up by the Oakland Raiders. He made an immediate impact in the silver-and-blacks rushing attack that year by playing in 13 games and racking up 499 yards on the ground to go along with four touchdowns. This lot includes McFaddens autographed and game-used Oakland Raiders road jersey from a December 4 2008 road game against the rival San Diego Chargers.
The white mesh Reebok jersey (size 44) shows heavy wear from that game with grass and sweat stains and a few paint transfers from on-field collisions. The jersey has a "08-44" swatch in the collar while a "Reebok [size] 44" NFL Equipment tag remains in the tail. In addition a special Raiders GU 63 patch is stitched above the left breast in tribute to longtime Raiders icon Gene Upshaw who passed away on August 20 2008. McFADDEN is stitched in black across the back nameplate and his No. 20 appears in black on the front back and shoulders. Letters on back show some fraying. McFaddens signature can be found on the right shoulder in 7-8/10 black marker. Photos from 12/4/2008 road game at Chargers attached.
This lot also comes with a photo of renowned jersey collector the late Delbert Mickel holding up this game-worn jersey with Darren McFadden. McFadden has signed the photo in 10/10 black marker.
Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.Includes Certificate of Authenticity from the Oakland Raiders' equipment manager.
