Featured here is an awesome pair of Chris Bosh’s game-worn signature model sneakers from the 2012-13 season in which the Miami Heat won their second straight NBA championship. The 6’11” power forward and member of the Heat's so-called "Big Three" sported these snazzy shoes in a December 29 2012 road game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Bosh tallied 12 points and 16 rebounds in a 104-85 loss at the Bradley Center a rare defeat for the 66-16 Heat that year. This came before Miami reeled off 27 straight victories a single-season mark only topped by one previous team: the 1971-72 L.A. Lakers. The Heat went on to beat the Spurs in the NBA Finals in seven games to complete the rare back-to-back feat. Both shoes are signed and inscribed by Bosh and were originally sourced through his memorabilia provider Fanatics Authentic.
The Nike Air Max Hyperposite mid/high-tops come in black with red outsoles and a yellow Swoosh to match the Heat team colors. “CB1” is stamped on the tongues to denote Bosh’s initials and uniform number. They come with their original black laces. The size 14.5 shoes are appropriately tagged on the interior with "SEASON H012" and "PROMO SAMPLE 20120711" indicating they were player-issued for 2012-13 use. The insoles have been removed likely for custom orthotics Bosh preferred to use. Bosh has autographed the outer toes and inscribed “12-29 @ MIL” on the outer midsoles of each shoe in 9/10 silver Sharpie. Two Fanatics hologram stickers are affixed to the back heels of each one confirming its game use and the other certifying the autograph. The sneakers display moderate game wear with proper heel drag and light creasing on the inner ankles.
